ST/TT Average HP Calculator

We have developed a tool which gives you or a dyno operator an ability to calculate your average horsepower by simply importing an output file from either Dynojet WinPEP 7 or WinPEP 8 software. You can read directions below on how to do it. If you have your dyno file handy, you can download the WinPEP software from the Dynojet website and use the tool below on your own.

  1. Select your single Dyno graph with the highest maximum HP. Using an export feature when multiple files are open, will make the output file unusable. If you need to figure out which file has the highest maximum HP, you can right click anywhere on the graph and select Display > Display Max Values. This will show you max HP value on top of the graph.
  2. Click the item File in the menu and select Export Data.
  3. In the Export Data Dialog, uncheck everything under Information/Headers, set Delimiters to Comma ( , ), and enter 0.05 into an empty box under Step Size: Engine Speed (RPM x1000) section.
  4. You can then preview your file or export it to a .txt file and save it. This is the file you will use to upload into the ST/TT Avg HP Calculator Tool Below.
