Introduction

In many ways, the NASA instructor is the lifeblood of the organization. NASA instructors are the first point of contact for people who interested in high-performance driving. Whether you knew or not, those same people will remember their first day of HPDE with NASA — and their instructor — for the rest of their lives. NASA instructors are the leading touch point, a caretaker who ensures new members have fun and learn the fundamentals of high-performance driving in a safe and controlled manner. Being an instructor is not easy, and it’s why we at NASA have put together the Instructor Benefits program.

The only package of its kind in all of motorsports, the NASA Instructor Benefits program rewards NASA instructors for the outsize role they play in
the organization, with discounts and promotions on things like Hawk Brakes, VP Racing and more.

To show appreciation for our instructors, NASA will be adding vendors to the program over time to provide as many benefits as possible. Being a
NASA instructor isn’t always easy, but taking advantage of our Instructor Benefits is.

Active NASA instructors are eligible for exclusive perks when shopping with NASA vendors enrolled in the Instructor Benefits program.

Program Details

  1. Complete the Instructor Benefits Redemption form once you have completed a minimum of 3 days of instruction. 
  2. Instructors must complete the Instructor Benefits Redemption form every time 3, 5, and 7, days of instruction is completed. 

Instructors must have an active NASA Membership and a valid NASA Instructor License for the current racing season

  • Awards are presented to eligible NASA Instructors who complete 3, 5, and 7 days of instruction. 
  • Awards are presented to eligible instructors in the form of “Hawk Bucks”,  “VP Bucks”, “Summit Bucks” respectively. 

 

 

Hawk Performance

  • “Hawk Bucks” may only be redeemed at www.hawkperformance.com
  • “Hawk Bucks” may only be combined with other “Hawk Bucks”.
  • “Hawk Bucks” are non-transferable and must be redeemed by the awardee.
  • “Hawk Bucks” are good through December 31, 2024.

 

VP Racing 

  • “VP Bucks” can only be redeemed on the VP Racing website.
  • “VP Bucks” can only be used towards the purchase of new VP Racing products and cannot be applied to other goods or services such as shipping charges or taxes.
  • “VP Bucks” cannot be applied to Fuel or Fuel Jugs. 
  • Minimum spend required.
    • 3 Days Instruction  – $100 Minimum Spend Required
    • 5 Days Instruction – $150 Minimum Spend Required
    • 7 Days Instruction – $200 Minimum Spend Required
  • “VP Bucks” may not be combined or “stacked” with any other coupon codes including “VP Bucks”
  • “VP Bucks” are good through December 31, 2024.

 

Summit Racing

  • “Summit Bucks” may be redeemed through www.summitracing.com  
  • “Summit Bucks” are not valid on previous purchases. No minimum purchase required. This certificate cannot be redeemed for cash or used to purchase a Summit Racing Gift Card.
  • “Summit Bucks” may only be combined with other “Summit Bucks”.
  • “Summit Bucks” are non-transferable and must be redeemed by the awardee.
  • “Summit Bucks” are good through December 31, 2024.

 

 

  • Awards must be claimed no later than December 31, 2024
  • Instructor Benefits codes will not offset any applicable tax, shipping, or handling fees.
  • Manufactures participating in the Instructor Benefits Program retains the right to change the program details at any time.
  • This optional program is verified by NASA and paid for by the participating manufacturers.

Contact your regional director for requirements on becoming a NASA Instructor.

When new partners are added, we’ll send word out through emails and via Speed News.

Once you successfully complete 7 days of instruction the payout schedule resets and you can continue to claim as you successfully complete additional days of instruction.
